GENERAL OBJETIVES
This objective is decomposed into the following 5 General Objectives:
To research from a social science, economics, ethical and regulatory perspectives the LTC needs of dependent people in Spain, its different cases, and services to be provided by SALUS framework.
To research Digital Twins acquiring data in real time from non-intrusive IoP and ambient Assisted Living devices to monitor long-term physical and mental health and activity of dependent people.
To investigate multimodal inclusive, friendly, and accessible user interaction modes with the LTC framework, and psychological long-term usability assessment and quality assurance methods for the services.
To research Trustworthy Artificial Intelligence methods to create services that provide health / social Long-Term Care support to dependent people, and virtual conversational assistants for accompaniment.
To experiment in laboratory conditions all the services of the SALUS framework, with synthetic data and evaluating the data acquisition of the LTC monitoring system.
TECHNICAL OBJETIVES
The following are the respective technical objectives to achieve these general objectives:
To research on the social situation of the elderly and dependent to select services for SALUS framework to provide.
To investigate in the creation of unipersonal digital twins to monitor the health and activity status of the elderly and dependent.
To investigate and create multimodal user interfaces for people with limitations on digital interaction to access the services of SALUS framework and methods for assessment of the quality and usability of the services.
To research Trustworthy AI algorithms to provide LTC support by analysing the evolution of the digital twins, and virtual conversational assistants for accompaniment to reduce solitude.
To experiment all the services for LTC support researched in SALUS in a set of realistic use cases with controlled laboratory conditions and to define future improvements.
